Shadows of the Sundered Heir - Session 1

Scene 0
I had no idea where to start this Adventure. All I knew is that I wanted it to be a human-centric dark fantasy setting. So, I went to Mythic to give me some inspiration on how to begin...
Decrease, Extravagance.
That made me think of someone who used to be a Noble, but is no longer one. OK, where does this adventure begin?...
Spacious, Enormous.
It has to be a wooded area, right? Let's get some Forest Descriptors...
Creepy, Natural.
hmmm, something "Creepy" is living in the woods? Or maybe a situation has made the situation Creepy?
Let's look at the Character Background...

Search, Prestige.
Well! That sounds like an ex-noble, trying to get their wealth back. Or, perhaps, they don't know that they are from a noble line. I like that!
What do they look like?

Dirty, Small.
It seems like they were orphaned when they were very young and, through poverty, they were slightly malnourished. Hence, the Dirty & Small prompts.
What about a Name and their Skills?

Col, Tar.
Start, Agility.

I like the name Col Tar I know you're supposed to take inspiration from the prompts and add/have similar sounding name. But, I think it works for this character!
Also, the prompts Start & Agility, makes me think of a Ranger type character...
Let's see how the first Scene will begin...

Trust, Illness.
that doesn't give me much...
Mechanically, Extravagant.
Burn, Imbue.
OK,I think I have an idea of how this starts...

Scene 1 - Chaos Factor: 5
The village of Kret is a small place, located at the edge of the Len Toh Forest.
The Chaos Army arrived without warning and burnt down all the homes and slay anybody in their path. Luckily for Col Tar, he was out scavenging in the woods whilst the Army arrived. He stood in shock, as the flames raised high in the morning sky, the screams and death cries of his people, drowning the sounds of otherwise peaceful song birds from the forest.
A handful of Soldiers, notice Col Tar and make chase.
Do they catch him? 90 Exceptional No
With his scouting skills and Agility, he manages to confuse the enemy in the vastness of the forest. He hears them going into a different direction. It's the middle of the day, so Col feels confident that there aren't many predators around. He manages to make it further into the forest, but he has no weapons or rations.
Roll WIS to find berries, etc. 2d6 = 7. Partial Success.
As he searches for berries or small herbs, he accidently grabs onto burning thistles that numbs his hand.
Although, he has enough food for the rest of the day, he'll have to search for more the next day. The day comes to an end and Col finds a spot to camp for the Night.
is there anybody there? 22 Yes Random Event
NPC Action (There isnt one, so I roll a new NPC)
Masculine, Short. Prepared, Careful.
Only, it has already got someone or something camping there already. A short but masculine person, sits alone at a campfire, looking cautiously around at every sound they hear...

I think that's a good place to end the Scene! Was Col Tar in control? Eh, not really. So the Chaos Factor will go up for the next Scene...
